Men's Gymnastics at the Beijing Olympics

The first event I got to attend at the Beijing Olympics was men's gymnastics. They took place in the National Indoor Stadium, where it was very colorful inside.

The teams competing were Korea, Germany and Belarus. It was hard to know which piece of equipment to look at. There was constant activity.

Korea on the parallel bars.

Germany on the high bar.

The seats were filled with excited fans.

I just love the panoramic feature on my camera. This is the perfect opportunity for it. A wide shot of the entire stadium. You can click on the image and see it larger.

Comment: lisa-marie & pauljahn - I used my V705 for the panoramic shot but the M1063 has the feature too. Most of the Kodak digtial cameras has that feature, it's one of my favorite things they do. Steve & Eric - thanks! I will keep 'em coming!

Comment: These photos are great -- they really help give a sense of what the Olympics look like and feel like. We're all enormously jealous that you're there and we're not! :)

Comment: Shannon - there are lots of Kodak people here at the Olympics. I am learning a little of the language... I downloaded an app to my iPhone!

Comment: Please let me know if you would like to sell any of your men's gymnastics photos! We don't need exclusive rights but we'd like the rights to use them.

Comment: Ni hao! I'm so thrilled for you that you are there! Are you the only Kodak rep at the Olympics? Are you learning a little Mandarin while in country? Do you already have plans for all of your Olympic photos?

Comment: Cindy - I have seen others with Kodak cameras, esp the high zoom ones. I haven't chosen my own events... I just kinda wait to see what comes my way. I think all the events are great, I don't have a favorite. I haven't been in an overcrowded situation yet, except for the Opening Ceremony. There were a LOT of people there.

Comment: Jenny, Are you noticing other tourists using Kodak cameras? Do you get to choose which events you see? How are the crowds?
