Panorama Extravaganza

Tom and I went a little nutty taking panoramic pictures at the Beijing Olympics. First of all it is so much fun. Everywhere we went we were scrutinizing the area to see if it would make a good panorama. Secondly, it's so darn easy with the panoramic feature on Kodak digital cameras. It is one of the features on our cameras that catches people's attention the most. Every time I post a panoramic picture I get lots of comments about it. So here for your viewing enjoyment is more panoramic pictures than you can shake a stick at. You can click on the images to see the ginormous shots in all their panoramy glory.

Stadiums full of people make dramatic panoramas... the Olympic Opening Ceremony.

Swimming

Track and field.

The stadiums were a favorite subject... the Water Cube.

The Bird's Nest

We took panoramas all over Beijing... The Temple of Heaven

The Great Wall of China

Panoramic shots can work well indoors... this is the Kodak Store in the Olympic Athletes Village.

Banquet room in The Great Hall of the People.

Temple of Confucious

The granddaddy of all panoramic pictures. Three shots of the Olympics MPC strung together in Photoshop.

Comment: The pictures from the Olympics look great. Are there any Kodak cameras that make panoramic pictures in one shot so no stitching is required?

Comment: Why does kodak not offer a panoramic print size on kodakgallery or sell picture frames in that size? I am limited to viewing my panoramic prints on a screen.
