Video Blogging Week!
Did you know April 5 through 11 is Video Blogging Week? I didn't! The idea is to post a new video to your blog every day for a week. What a cool project!
Since I didn't participate by posting a video a day, I would like to feature the following three videos instead. They are all unique and creative videos, and they were all recorded using a Kodak Zi6 Video Camera. I was impressed by all of them.
This is one of the most artistic videos I have seen - The Last Home Recording Upon Eager Eyes. The effect Karen creates in this piece is created by shooting the video with a Zi6 through a broken Nikon D50. Throughout the video you can see the cross hairs of the camera and it feels as though you are viewing the world through a photo taking experience.
The Last Home Recording Upon Eager Eyes from Karen Abad loves Dinosaurs. on Vimeo.
Imaginative camera work and clever editing turned short clips of a snowboarding trip into video that is fun to watch and really tells the story. It's almost like being there.
it's about me from Darren Groucutt on Vimeo.
This is very creative use of a Zi6... and very funny to boot. Brad J. Ward demonstrates how you can save yourself some work and use your Zi6 to check your gutters!
I hope these videos help inspire you to shoot your own stories and maybe next year we will all be ready for Video Blogging Week. If you have a great video you would like to share, please leave me a comment.

Bloggers & Laura Rowley talk about Kodak printers & saving money
Yesterday I had the opportunity to spend some time with a group of bloggers who were gathered to pick up some household money saving tips from personal finance journalist and author Laura Rowley. They also learned about how the Kodak All-in-One printers can help you save money on ink.

I got to talk with Laura and a few of the bloggers about blogging, photography, videos and printing.
